The Finnish Heart Association is a promoter of heart health and a lobbying organisation that builds up people’s resources and welfare. It offers health information, support for lifestyle changes and assistance for recovery. The values that guide the Finnish Heart Association’s activities are expertise, reliability, courage, respect for people and a goal-oriented work.

The Association has 17 districts, 234 local heart associations with approximately 80,000 members as well as three national affiliated organisations: Finnish Association for Heart Children and Adults, Finnish Heart and Lung Transplant Association Syke and Finnish Cardiomyopathy Patient Association.
